As you know, the best compliment a business can receive is a referral. We understand asking for a referral is a delicate matter, so we have shared some frequently asked questions about our referral program to make this process as easy as possible.
What is the Elavon referral program?
The Elavon referral program is an exciting opportunity for you to receive a statement credit each time you successfully refer Elavon payment processing services to your fellow business owners. You will receive a $100 statement credit for each referral you submit once the referral begins processing payments through Elavon. There is no limit to the number of statement credits you can earn.
What happens after I submit a referral contact form?
After the contact information has been verified, an Elavon representative will reach out to your referral within two business days noting they are being contacted as part of a referral program. Please ensure to let your referral know that you provided us with their contact information.
What counts as a successful referral?
To successfully qualify for the $100 statement credit, the referred client will need to open and activate a new account with Elavon and process at least $50 within 90 days of the referral.
Is there a limit to the number of businesses I can refer?
There is no limit to the number of businesses you may refer, but each referred merchant must be a different owner with a different Tax ID number. Multi-Merchant ID accounts are not eligible. For example: several merchants in one location and/or using a multi-Merchant ID terminal cannot refer each other (such as a hair salon with several stylists).
When will I receive my statement credit once I’ve made a successful referral?
Please allow 30-60 days following referral opening and processing. The referred account must be actively processing payment transactions for a minimum of one week and be in an open status at the time that the credit is applied. The $100 statement credit will be applied directly to your monthly Elavon statement.
